Tracing Needs is a  semi-annual publication created by Great Rivers 2-1-1 as a tool to assist human service personnel, community planners, elected officials and other interested people in tracking new resources and in identifying and perhaps responding to unmet needs.

The four sections of the piece include:

• What's New ... A place to share information on new agencies and programs.
• Stats & Trends Report ... A semi-annual presentation of what Great Rivers 2-1-1 callers are requesting. What trends are appearing and what needs are unmet.
• A Closer Look ... With each Tracing Needs issue, focus is placed on a particular need and what community resources might be available to meet that need.
• Of Particular Interest ... Talks about a variety of topics.
